Coffs Harbour Regional Landcare (CHRL) proudly hosts a Local Landcare Coordinator through the NSW Government’s Landcare Enabling Program 2023-2027, administered on the North Coast by the North Coast Regional Landcare Network (NCRLN).

The Local Landcare Coordinator plays an important role in supporting CHRL to be a strong, effective and sustainable organisation. Working across community engagement, volunteer support, communications, project development and stakeholder partnerships, the role helps strengthen CHRL’s capacity to deliver environmental outcomes and respond to the needs of the community.

The Coordinator works closely with local Landcare volunteers, community, landholders and partner organisations to encourage participation in Landcare, build the skills and confidence of volunteers, and support community-led environmental action. The role also assists CHRL through member engagement, communications, grant support, reporting, project planning and the development of strategic partnerships.

By supporting both the organisation and the broader Landcare network, the Local Landcare Coordinator helps ensure CHRL remains well-connected, resilient and capable of delivering lasting environmental and community benefits across the Coffs Harbour region.

🌱 Through this program, CHRL is building the capacity of both people and organisations to care for our environment now and into the future.
