Autumn Macroinvertebrate Study – Volunteers Needed
Nana Glen Landcare and the Orara Valley Rivercare Management Committee will be conducting an Autumn Macroinvertebrate Study—weather permitting—at several sites along the Orara River and Bucca Creek from:
- Monday 23 March to Friday 27 March, and
- Monday 30 March
Fieldwork will run from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm each day, with three sites sampled daily.
We are seeking volunteers to help sort and count macroinvertebrate sample trays for identification. No prior experience is required.
This is a great opportunity to get involved in an important research and educational project that supports the health of our local waterways.
Volunteers can assist for:
- One site (approx. 2 hours)
- A full day
- Or all six days
