National Tree Day 2025

July 27 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

| Free

Join us on National Tree Day!

Get your hands dirty as we come together to green up Tree Fern Creek—a hidden gem in Coffs Harbour that’s home to some of our threatened wildlife. Think koalas snoozing in the trees, Powerful Owls gliding silently at dusk, squirrel gliders zipping through the canopy, and flying foxes flying in for a feed.

Why it matters:

Tree Fern Creek is more than a patch of green—it’s a vital habitat corridor that helps our native species thrive. By planting trees here, you’re building homes, creating food sources, and reviving ecosystems that are hanging on by a branch.

What to expect:

  • Feel-good vibes and community spirit
  • Planting native trees with fellow nature lovers
  • A chance to spot wildlife in their natural habitat
  • Good company, fresh air, and muddy boots—what’s not to love?

📅 Mark your calendar and come and help us this National Tree Day

Please wear covered shoes, long sleeves and a hat and bring a bottle of water.

The planting is located near Jack Ladd St, Coffs Harbour – the exact meeting place will be sent to registered volunteers closer to the date
