Nominations are now open for our 2023 Annual Awards
Coffs Harbour Regional Landcare acknowledges and celebrates the outstanding efforts of individual Landcare volunteers, Landcare groups and community members, organisations and buisnesses.
Award nominees will be honoured at an official award ceremony and the winners’ stories published on our website.
By publicly recognising all of our award recipients we hope to motivate and inspire others in the community to make a positive difference in the Coffs Harbour Region.
CHRL individual volunteers or groups are able to win the award more than once. They must however be nominated on a new achievement, not the same achievements that they had been recognised for in their previous win.
For CHRL volunteers, who also carry out industry related contractor work, their nominations need to focus specifically on acknowledging their volunteering activities and achievements.
We invite all members to submit their 2023 nominations for the following awards:
Eileen Moody Award for an Individual Landcare Volunteer
Coffs Harbour Regional Landcare, through this award, acknowledges and celebrates the achievements of an individual CHRL volunteer who directly contributes to CHRL through their volunteer activities.
Dee Wallace Award for Excellence by a Landcare Group
Coffs Harbour Regional Landcare honours the memory of the late Dee Wallace with the Dee Wallace Award. This award recognizes a CHRL Volunteer Group for its direct contribution to Landcare by rehabilitating the environment.
Pia Dollmann Conservation and Sustainability Community Award
Coffs Harbour Regional Landcare, through this award, acknowledges and celebrates an individual, community group, business or school within the Coffs Community who have significantly contributed to the conservation and/or sustainability in the Coffs Region.
Nominations are to be submitted by 5pm Thursday, October 19th 2023.
The CHRL annual awards day ceremony will be held on Thursday, 9th of November 2023.
