Developments are important for our community, but they can have negative impacts on the birds that share our suburbs. So, how do birds cope with urban development? Come along to the next webinar presented by Birdlife Australia to learn why some species do better in our backyards than others. What can we do, as a community, to support the less common species?  

Presenter bio: 

Jacinta Humphrey (she/her) is a PhD student with the Research Centre for Future Landscapes at La Trobe University, Melbourne. She is passionate about creating habitat for wildlife in cities, and is currently working on the Birrarung Trial Floating Wetlands project with the City of Melbourne. Jacinta was previously the Chair of the Victorian Biodiversity Conference Organising Committee, and enjoys sharing her work with the community.
