My time with CHRL officially ended on December 3rd, and while I am no longer in the role, the memories, and experiences I have shared with all of you will stay with me forever.

It has been an absolute privilege to work alongside such passionate and dedicated individuals who share a commitment to caring for our incredible natural environment. Whether it was planting trees, tackling weeds, or conducting flora, fauna, macroinvertebrate, and bird surveys, your contributions have been invaluable to the health of our local ecosystems and the success of Landcare projects, and I am so grateful to have been a part of it!

I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to each of you for the opportunity to work alongside you. The sense of community and shared purpose I have experienced here is truly unmatched, and I will always value the experiences we have shared and the projects we have worked on together.

While my time as Project Officer has ended, I will continue to support and cheer for the fantastic work you do from afar. Keep making a difference and showing what a positive impact a dedicated group of volunteers can have. I also look forward to joining one of the sites as a volunteer soon.

Thank you as well for all your lovely farewell messages. I am sorry I was not able to respond, as I am sure you can appreciate, I have been tying up final projects before my departure. Please know all your warm wishes were so deeply appreciated!

Wishing you all the very best in your Landcare efforts and beyond. Please continue to reach out to contact@coffsharbourlandcare.org.au, where Mel and Karen will assist you until the new Project Officer steps in next year.
