Notice of AGM and Call for Nominations for the Executive Committee
ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
The Annual General Meeting of Coffs Harbour Regional Landcare Inc. will be held on Wednesday 1st September at the Coffs Harbour Neighbourhood Centre commencing at 4:00 pm, should NSW Covid restrictions permit. The Agenda and draft minutes from last year’s AGM are available by contacting the office.
We are inviting all members to consider nominating for a position on the Executive Committee. The Committee, which has 7 members, meets monthly, and at other times as needed, and has responsibility for the management of the organisation. It is a great team leading a very successful organisation.
Nominations need to:
- Be submitted to the CHRL office no later than COB Wednesday 25th of August, 2021
- Include the names and addresses and signatures of 2 members supporting the nomination
- Include the name and address of the person being nominated for the committee (note the person must be a financial member of CHRL) along with their signature accepting the nomination
- Include the position on the Executive that the nominee wishes to be considered for, including: President; Vice President, Secretary; Treasurer; or ordinary committee member.
Request a nomination form (Monday to Friday) by email to chrl@coffslandcare.org.au. Voting and nominations can be made and supported by current financial members only. If you haven’t renewed your membership, you can pay your membership by direct deposit into Coffs Harbour Regional Landcare Inc. BCU account. Follow the directions on the website to renew now.
Nominations will only be taken on the day of the meeting in the circumstances where less than 7 written nominations have been received by the Secretary prior to the meeting.
The AGM will be followed by the General Meeting. The Agenda for this meeting and the draft minutes from our last General meeting are also available by contacting the office.
