This City of Coffs Council Environmental Levy funded project is now in it’s 6th year of annual funding. The project allows CHRL to employ a Nursery Coordinator to support our volunteers and ensure the smooth running of our Community Nursery at Woolgoolga so it continues to be a successful community facility. The Community Nursery is open to the public two mornings a week from 9am-12pm and provides local native seedlings and advice to our Landcare sites, other local revegetation projects and the wider community. In 2021/22 the volunteers completed over 1100 hours of nursery work and supplied 8650 seedlings. Native plant propagation workshops are also held regularly.
