The new Landcare Cane Toad Control Handbook is now available as a pdf online. Landcare-CaneToad-Handbook

This handbook was produced in 2021 by Clarence Landcare and Border Ranges-Richmond Valley Landcare Network, assisted by the NSW Government through its Environmental Trust, with additional support provided by North Coast Local Land Services.

This guide will assist you to identify cane toads, their tadpoles and eggs and provide you with a better understanding of their habitat and behaviour.

If you want to help with Cane Toad control, download and review this guide to assist you further with proper identification, collection and humane euthanisia methods based on their life stages.

We encourage you to check in with your local Landcare networks for more information about control programs available in your area.
